This Laguiole folding knife is handcrafted according to strict specifications: 440 stainless steel blade: this steel, also called surgery steel, is perfect for a folding knife. It features a high percentage of carbon (for a sharp cutting edge) and chrome (to prevent it from rusting).
Olive-wood handle with two forged stainless steel bolsters: the 2 bolsters guarantee the strenght of the handle. These are forged. The olive-tree wood is naturally veined and gives this knife authenticity, and carries an image of traditional values.
It also features an incrustation of the Christian cross.
